This week I was not at school on Monday, but yesterday I was able to create my calendar of planned construction. It may be a little too ambitious, but hopefully setting goals will set me on the right track to getting the animation done on time. I do not want to have to rush near the end of the animating process. Also, I will be vacationing during spring break, so I can't plan to do any work during that time.

This weekend I will finish recording and editing my animation. If this is completed by Monday, I will be on schedule and will be able to start my animation work next class.

*Correction on previous comment: I will finish recording and editing my NARRATION.

Progress to date: I was pretty busy this weekend, so I still have to finish up my narration recording/editing. Looking at my calendar and playing around with the software, it seems that my current schedule may be overly ambitious. I will probably work the slowest during the beginning of my animation as I learn how to use the program, and "accelerate" in efficiency as I work my way through. So, my "first scene" work may only allow me to get the first two frames of my story board done; still, the animation required for this is relatively simple, especially in the first two frames, and many of the objects have already been created for use in the animation (not backgrounds, yet). I am still confident that I will get the project done, however, by the end of the marking period and before the competition date.

I have completed editing my narration. I will see if I am able to upload the file onto the blog this weekend. I have started working on my first scene of animation and am making great headway. When I complete the first scene, I will contact my mentor for suggestions.

It's actually me in the future. You see, I have just completed my time machine, and just remembered I should post on my blog; that's why I'm posting on a Wednesday.

I'm continuing to animate the first scene of the animation. My work in progress will be uploaded to another blog post if it is possible to upload swf files.

Friday was a snow day, which explains the lack of posting. I have completed my scene one and have sent it off to my mentor for a response. I am now continuing my work on the animation on the second scene. So far, progress is going along quite smoothly.

I am currently continuing work on scene two. I am also still awaiting a response from my mentor. Hopefully, I can get a majority of the work done for the animation over the weekend. Also, I will need to figure out how to export my work in version CS3 of Flash to MX 2004 in order to work on the animation during the systems periods.
