Research and Brainstorming

During the week I skimmed through Einstein's Relativity once again and broke down the book into the specific topics that the animation created could focus on. For each subtopic, I created "comic strip" style sketches to look at the different ways that each concept could be demonstrated visually. These topics included:
  • simultaneity of relativity
  • train paradox
  • law of propagation of light
  • time/length dilation
  • space-time continuum
  • the universe in four dimensions
  • relativity in modern engineering
  • general relativity
    • space curvature
    • "finite yet unbounded" universe
  • E=mc^2 (energy/mass equivalence)
  • Rotating Disk Paradox
  • Train Paradox
